Wild Boar Wood opening for Easter 2020

Easter glamping in Sussex at Wild Boar Wood Campsite

We are always fully booked at Easter and on other holidays so don’t delay if you’d like to stay! You can check availability for our glamping and camping sites by clicking the ‘Book Now’ button at the top of the page. Alternatively, give us a call in the office on 01273 980218.

Our off-grid woodland glamping site at Wild Boar Wood is opening early for Easter glamping in the 2020 season. Good Friday falls on the 10th April this year and Easter Monday is on the 13th. We have a two night minimum stay over the Easter break but why not make the most of it and stay for three or four nights? There’s a lot to look forward to with a spring-time stay.

Bluebells

Our five-acre woodland bursts to life with a carpet of beautiful bluebells in April and May. Sleep among them with an Easter glamping break and wake up to a carpet of blue.

Wild glamping

You can enjoy our unique “wild glamping” experience at its best as Easter is one of the best times of year for wildlife and birdlife at our campsite. You’ll stay in one of our nine bell tents in the woodland, which are set up ready for your arrival. Hear the hoot of the owls in the evening and the tapping of the woodpeckers as you arise. No need to pack all of your camping kit as everything is provided for you in our bell tents. Just bring your bedding and some delicious food to cook on the campfire and we’ll sort the rest!

Friendly wardens

Our campsite wardens are excited to be welcoming you all to the woodland. We’re very lucky at our glamping sites to have people that love the outdoors and nature as much as we do. They know the area well, so utilise their expertise! Fancy a country walk to the local pub? Or perhaps you’d like to know where the nearest family attraction is? How about the nearby vineyard for a taste of their famous Sussex wines? Just ask!

Bank holiday camping

Who doesn’t love a three day weekend? Two days at a glamping site is just never enough. Three days give you chance to unwind, relax and time to do some exploring! Head out to one of the local attractions, or try a pub lunch on one of the days on your Easter glamping break.

The Bluebell Railway – take a trip on the old steamtrains that run right past the campsite

Top-rated glamping site

You can find out for yourself why Wild Boar Wood Campsite is rated as one of the best glamping sites in the UK with five-star reviews from Cool Camping and a certificate of excellence on Trip Advisor.

Prefer to pitch your own tent?

Wild Boar Wood’s sister camping and glamping site at Beech Estate is open from April 1st. You can enjoy the same “wild glamping” experience we offer at Wild Boar Wood. Or pitch your own tent in a forest glade at Beech Estate, which is located in a 600-acre woodland.

For more reasons to go camping or glamping in the spring check out our recent blog post on the topic: you can expect a quieter campsite, the chance of seeing more wildlife and to appreciate the warmth of the campfire and the coziness of our pre-erected bell tents.
