Lewes is around twenty three miles from Beech Estate Campsite.
If your kids are budding historians, you might like to take them to Lewes Castle and the neighbouring Barbican Museum. As well as uncovering the history of the castle and the area, you can picnic on the lawn within the castle grounds and send your kids on a treasure trail. The trail is one of a number of activity sheets available to be downloaded from the website.
