Borde Hill Gardens is in Haywards Heath, around thirty miles from Beech Estate Campsite.
The beautiful formal gardens at Borde Hill are surrounded by the parkland and woodland of the 200-acre Borde Hill Estate. The gardens were created by owner of the property Colonel Stephenson Robert Clarke using seeds collected from all over the world in the 1900s. The garden is particularly well known for rare shrubs and trees and has been called “One of the country’s truly great gardens” by Country Life magazine. Borde Hill has a shop, tea room, restaurant and impressive adventure play area.
