The team that makes it run smoothly, so you can escape to nature…
Campsites manager: Ben
Ben, pictured below, moved to Beech Estate Campsite in 2020 to help out part time after working as a tour guide abroad. With a real interest in the outdoors and true adventurous spirit, he was a really great fit! After his first season he came back as the campsite warden in 2021 and worked hard to make the campsite look and feel its best. Ben now joins us as campsites manager and manages both Beech Estate and Wild Boar Wood Campsites and our lovely on-site wardens.
Wardens: Eva and Patrick
This year, we welcome Eva and Patrick to the team as campsite wardens at Beech Estate Campsite. Eva and Patrick (pictured below with Ben) had been looking for a change as they felt they were being consumed by city life. They’re happiest in the woods, nature and when camping and travelling. So far they’ve had a great impact on Beech Estate and we look forward to working with them throughout the season.
In the office: Katie and Hugh
Hugh, is the man behind Beech Estate and Wild Boar Wood Campsites (formerly Eco Camp UK). An Aussie by birth and a Brightonian by choice, Hugh started Eco Camp UK back in 2010. His idea was to provide the essence of wild camping in a way that was environmentally friendly, easy and enjoyable for families. Hugh is married with three children.
Katie is the Office Manager and will likely be the person you’ll talk to on the phone or by email if you have any questions. Katie has a love of the outdoors and is a keen camper (and glamper) in her spare time.
