If you are looking for a mountain biking campsite – consider staying at Beech Estate Campsite. We think we have one of the best spots for campers who want to mountain bike as our campsite is on the edge of a 600-acre woodland with forest rides which are great to explore. It’s a private woodland too – so apart from other campers, you’ll be the only ones to experience it.
Don’t take my word for it – look at some off these great mountain bike tracks through the woods in our photo gallery.
We offer fully-equipped bell tents and tent pitches where you can put up your own tent. If you are travelling to Beech Estate by bike, you might like to consider staying in a pre-erected bell tent as it will reduce the amount you need to pack. You can leave the tent at home. We provide the cooking equipment, cutlery and tableware so you really can travel light. If you prefer to use your own tent, you can choose one of our tent pitches. The pitches are tucked into forest glades or up on hilltops with valley views. All options offer a great base to experience cycling around the local area or exploring the estate and campsite via mountain bike.
The campsite is also close to the South Downs National Park – a popular place for outdoor sporting activities including mountain biking. There are 1,200 km of car-free bridleways to explore in the national park.
Beech Estate Woodland Campsite is located near Battle and Hastings so it is easily reached from London. The journey takes about 90 minutes by car. Battle railway station is three miles away. It is also within easy reach of Brighton and the south coast.
