Half term camping holidays can make the school holidays so much more fun for both children and adults. A trip to one of our Sussex woodland campsites makes a great mini break. The Easter holidays and spring half term are a lovely time of year to come camping, If you are a little nervous about the weather at this time of year, take a look at our list of reasons to camp in spring. Half term camping in Sussex - Beech Estate Campsite

Our Beech Estate Woodland Campsite opens at the beginning of April so is usually open for the Easter holidays, depending on when Easter falls. The campsite stays open until the end of October so you can even get an Autumn half term camping break in too! Click book now at the top of the page to check availability. Beech Estate Campsite offers camping in secluded woodland glades or glamping in our pre-erected bell tents.

Both Wild Boar Wood Campsite (our glamping only campsite in West Sussex) and Beech Estate Woodland Campsite will be open for May half term camping. Our sites are, of course, also ideal for Bank Holiday camping and camping in the school summer holidays.

Glamping and camping options in Sussex

Choose Wild Boar Wood or Beech Estate for your half term camping trip and you can stay in one of our British-made bell tents. These come fully equipped with everything you need for a camping trip, so no need to spend hours packing up the car! If you prefer to bring your own tent, try Beech Estate in East Sussex where we offer both bell tents and tent pitches. Our campsites are close to London and Brighton. So if you are coming from either city, it is not too far to travel with the children and your half term holiday can begin right away.

We offer camping in the woods, camping with open fires and family friendly camping breaks. Ideal for children, in our lovely campsites in the Sussex countryside. We have a two night minimum stay for half term camping or glamping but book yourself a longer stay and you can really feel refreshed after your break. Whether you plan to relax at the campsite, making fires, building dens and taking long walks or if you want to explore the local attractions that Sussex has to offer. There are lots of great places to visit in Sussex with family activities which children will love. Half term is the perfect time to visit this beautiful county!
