Group campsites – perfect for family holidays

Wild Boar Wood and Beech Estate Campsites are both great as group campsites and are ideal for special events such as birthdays or celebrations.

Both our campsites can be exclusively booked out for a group camping occasion. The number of guests in your group may help you choose the site that best suits your group’s needs.

Neighbouring bell tents at Wild Boar Wood

Our glamping only campsite in West Sussex has nine fully-equipped bell tents. We can host up to nine families together at one time. Smaller groups can book neighbouring bell tents at our site, depending on availability. Just contact the office to let us know of your requirements and to check we have availability on your selected dates.

Wild Boar Wood Campsite has a communal campfire area, covered by a parachute which larger groups are welcome to use. Though if you have not booked the whole campsite, be aware that the communal area is for the use of everyone on the campsite. The campsite is close to Haywards Heath in the Sussex High Weald, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Easily reached from London or Brighton. There are plenty of things for groups to do nearby, including the Bluebell Railway, Sheffield Park and great country walks for our campers. A warden lives on site full time. For additional information please contact the office on 01273 980218 or via our contact us page.

Beech Estate Campsite

Group camping in the Woodland Meadow at Beech Estate campsite

Beech Estate Woodland Campsite is the perfect spot for group camping or glamping (or a mixture of both). The campsite offers both pitches for campers to bring their own tents and eight five-metre bell tents. Though exclusive campsite bookings are an option, it often isn’t viable due to the size of the campsite. But please do get in touch to discuss your needs. Groups of up to fifteen families can be accommodated in our Woodland Meadow. We also have pitches large enough for between two and five tents to be pitched together. Great local pubs are within walking distance of the campsite and the 600-acre private woodland, which the campsite is based in, is perfect for campers to mountain bike and walk through. The campsite is near enough to London (1.5 hours’ drive) for weekends away and close to Hastings and the South Coast.

People interested in booking our group campsites should remember we operate a no electronic music policy. Acoustic music around the fire during the day and early evening is fine. So if your friends and family like celebrating around a campfire, call us about a group booking on 01273 980218 or get in touch via our contact us page.
