Looking for camping near London, Brighton, Hastings, Lewes, Eastbourne and the beaches of the South Coast? Look no further and come and camp with us at either our Beech Estate Campsite or Wild Boar Wood Campsite.
Beech Estate Campsite
Beech Estate is within an hour of South London and 90 minutes from central London. The campsite is located near Hastings and the historic town of Battle in East Sussex. The campsite is set in a 600-acre woodland, on a 2,000-acre private estate. We are a small scale, family-friendly campsite in one of the best forest settings in East Sussex. Our campsite allows open campfires – each pitch and bell tent has it’s own fire-pit.
Wild Boar Wood Campsite
We also have a West Sussex campsite – Wild Boar Wood Campsite – which contains nine of our fully equipped ‘easy-camping’ bell tents. This beautiful campsite in a Sussex ancient woodland also offers camping near London and Brighton.
Wild Boar Wood does not offer pitch camping and is on a smaller site than Beech Estate. There are just nine bell tents in the wood, each offering the same “wild glamping” or “easy camping” experience as described above for Beech Estate Woodland Campsite.
Wild Boar Wood is a small five-acre woodland surrounded by fields and the glorious West Sussex countryside. The preserved Bluebell Railway line runs right past our little campsite and seeing the old-fashioned steam trains chugging past is one of the highlights of a stay here. From south London, it is just 30 miles to Wild Boar Wood, which usually takes between an hour and 90 minutes to travel.
