Secluded Camping Pitches away from the crowds…
Our most secluded camping pitches – which we have called The Faraway Tent Pitches – are set in the forest further from the campsite entrance with some offering scenic views. These secluded camping pitches are either single faraway pitches, double faraway pitches and the faraway group areas suitable for up to 4-8 families. All our secluded camping Faraway Pitches come with their own firepit and new for 2026…a picnic table! All our pitches fit a 5-metre bell tent – for larger tents or multiple tents please contact the office to ensure we can allocate you a larger pitch.

There is a 150 plus metre walk to the main toilets and showers. However there are brand new compost toilets, bucket showers and water points located close to the faraway pitches. The walk from the car park is approximately 300+ metres – large wheelbarrows are provided to assist you – it’s a small price to pay for such secluded camping pitches.
Many of our Forest Tent Pitches are just as secluded – and often more enclosed with the woodland. If in doubt about which pitch or pitches would suit you, please feel free to contact the office here.
Due to access we do not allow any caravans onsite – and campervans can not access our most secluded camping pitches – tents only please. You must supply all of your own camping equipment.
