Secluded Group Camping with friends and family…
Our Sussex campsite caters for groups of all sizes looking for relaxed gatherings with family and friends in the woods. Beech Estate Campsite offers some great group camping and glamping options. From camping with a couple of friends in neighbouring glamping tents or on the same pitch with its own firepit and picnic table, all the way up to the exclusive hire of Wild Boar Wood or 20 families on our Meadow, we’ll have something for you.

Faraway Group Camping Pitch at Beech Estate
This idyllic pitch, literally ‘far away’ from the other campers and surrounded by trees and the woods, sits on top of the ridge at the far end of the faraway area on the edge of the campsite, looking over a woodland copse and the valley floor. It’s your very own stretch of woodland paradise and is great for large groups, as the children can play in front of the pitches in the valley and in the surrounding woodland (and maybe even spot some visiting deer at dusk and dawn!).
The group pitch has two large firepits and two picnic tables and is just a short walk from the faraway facilities (comprising a water-point, washing-up area, new compost toilets made by a local carpenter – there are also flushing toilets in the main facilities – and our famous hot bucket showers). It can also be combined with pitch F3 on the map here, which can add another 2 or 3 families to your group camping trip.
Unfurnished Bell Tents
For guests without their own tents (or those wishing to take the easier option!), we can put up unfurnished bell tents (no further equipment – although folding z bed mattresses can also be hired) for anyone in the group. Our staff put them up prior to your arrival and take them down after you leave. These are charged at £105 (incl VAT) for the stay and £8 per bed, on top of our standard camping fees and hired to groups on a first come first served basis.Group Camping Options
