Pegs and Pitches Camping brings together two independent Sussex campsites providing Real Camping and Wild Glamping. Beech Estate Campsite and Wild Boar Wood Campsite couple this with a warm welcome and the chance to enjoy a campfire.
Both of our sites are unique with quirks and personality of their own, but they all create the opportunity to escape from our technology filled lives, whilst enjoying a little adventure.
Wild Boar Wood Campsite was started in 2011 and Beech Estate Campsite followed the next year in 2012. The business was formerly know as Eco Camp UK and briefly as The Secret Campsites.
We encourage families and friends to gather around a campfire and reconnect. We provide plenty of hot water for showers and washing up, alongside simple, clean and well maintained facilities.
All of our camping areas are kept car, dog and music free. This enables campers to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the campsite accompanied by the sites and sounds of nature. Be it a dawn chorus, the midnight hoot of a tawny owl or an ink black star show, on a crisp clear night.
This clutter free approach to camping creates a low key environment where children can safely explore the surrounding landscape and encounter a diverse range of plants, animals and insects. From glow worms, voles, or newts, to butterflies, nightingales and blackberries you will get to experience nature at first hand.
